JENN KETTLEs

Vinyasa

Jenn (she/her) first experienced yoga in 2004 when her corporate gig started offering lunchtime classes. After 10 years of nurturing her own practice, she pursued and completed her 200hr YTT, then her 500hr five years later. She is so thankful to all of her teachers along the way for their patience, guidance, and constant encouragement. (Like constant. She’s not even sure how they put up with her.) Inspired by her teachers, she strives to have a similar connection with her own students.

Jenn believes:

  • It is important that every student feels safe in the yoga space and that everybody leaves her classes feeling empowered in their own practice.

  • Every moment is an opportunity to practice yoga. And the best way to honor yoga’s roots is to practice for personal and social change.

  • Moving in ways that feel good + encourage you to connect to your own body are the best ways to move.

  • There's a place for Prince on every single yoga playlist.

keshia eleazar

Vinyasa

Keshia (she/her) stumbled upon a Vinyasa power yoga class 10 years ago and unbeknownst to her, this new practice would impact and change her. Through her dedicated yoga practice she was able to navigate her way through growth, challenges, and stagnancy on and off the mat. Completing her 200hr YTT in 2016 where she met Rebel boss babe, Jenn, she began a newfound journey sharing her love of yoga with others.

Keshia believes:

  • You are your biggest teacher and advocate. Honoring your body, mind and your practice without judgement is the kindest thing you can do to yourself.

  • Finding gratitude in self and those who have guided and supported your journey is crucial. It is especially important to find that gratitude in those who haven’t! Everyone/everything has a purpose.

  • It’s okay to do a body roll when you’re feeling the music. Actually, it’s encouraged.

  • Your practice isn’t linear, but that’s what makes it unique and fun. Just like you, bb!

MIQUELA COX

Cardio + Core
Vinyasa

Miquela (she/her) has been a fitness instructor since 2014 and comes from a strong classical Pilates background. Pilates was often confused with Yoga so she finally gave in and attended a damn yoga class. To her stubborn surprise, she loved it!
She loves to live life in the fast lane, so when she caught word of HIIT and spin, you better believe that energy monster was there for it! Miquela is also certified in pilates (mat, Reformer + Hot), TRX, bootcamp, spin, and pole dance.

Miquela believes:

  • Workouts should be fun and challenging for both the body and mind.

  • Working out should never a punishment but a celebration of what our bodies are capable of doing today. Right here. Right now.

  • Your best is ALWAYS enough!

  • Twerks release negative energy. Twerks bring positive energy. When in doubt, twerk it out!

MARK QUIJANO

Vinyasa

In Spring of 2016, Mark (he/him) completed is first 200hr YTT with the intention of deepening his practice, but not to teach. By Summer of that same year, Mark decided to take a break from the tech space and quit his corporate job. He found himself teaching yoga full time and continued to do so for the next few years. Since then, he has deepened his study of yoga taking several more 200hr YTTs and competed is 500hr YTT in Fall of 2019.

Mark believes:

  • Life can be too serious. Laugh a little, or a lot!

  • Everyone and anyone can practice yoga. It’s not a matter of what you can or can’t do; it’s a matter of what you’re ready for and willing to do. With time and practice, the body will eventually surrender to the possibilities.

  • Mind chatter will always be there, even in meditation and yoga. Thorough practice, we can allow ourselves to dissolve the circular thoughts to create internal stillness.

  • Clothing is constricting and should be optional.

JACKIE UM

Vinyasa

Jackie (she/her) started her fitness journey in 2014 with yoga, where she fell in love with the mind, body and spiritual connection that comes with the practice. For Jackie, sharing this is a top priority when working with clients. After 5 years in the yoga industry, she branched out into HIIT, circuit training, bootcamp, rowing, strength, TRX (and more!) and she believes a combination of fitness styles is best for function in everyday movement. She is passionate about helping clients excel in mobility, flexibility, strength and helping them discover their most powerful self.

Jackie believes:

  • Fitness is NOT about how you look, it is about how you FEEL.

  • Positive mindset is important in all aspects of life. Especially when you are eating, exercising, working, etc. Say nice things to yourself and listen to what your body is telling you.

  • Smiling is the best medicine.

  • Everyone deserves to feel their most beautiful and powerful self!

TRINA CABALTERA

Vinyasa

Trina (she/her) began her yoga journey in 2014 when she attended a meditation & mindfulness class. This evolved to a deep love for yoga, particularly yoga philosophy. During the 2020 global pandemic, she finished her 200hr YTT in Hatha/Vinyasa. Her passion for learning led to completing her 500hr in 2022 while gathering additional certifications in astrology, pre/post-natal yoga, pranayama, yoga nidra, and AFAA-GFI for other group fitness formats.

Trina believes:

  • We are our own healers.

  • Setting boundaries is self-care.

  • Strengthening mind-body connection during yoga comes from a place of compassion, where we learn to surrender to our bodies in the moment rather than strive for our bodies to look a certain way.

JONATHAN OLAES

Strength

After being introduced to the world of fitness in 2008, Jonathan (he/him) wanted to share the “boost” that came with exercise: Boost in self-confidence, boost in energy, boost in self-esteem, the list goes on! In 2016, he officially became a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. Since then, he has refined his fitness strategy to provide the best results, but more importantly, to do so while having fun! Jonathan’s absolute favorite part about being a Fitness Specialist is seeing how people transform mentally, physically, and spiritually.

Jonathan believes:

  • Moving with a purpose.

  • Comparison is the thief of joy. Do things to YOUR abilities and not up to anyone else’s standards. Sure, it’s nice to push yourself but stop the negative self-talk.

  • Nothing is impossible! The word itself says “I’m Possible”.

She holds the responsibility of sharing yoga with gratitude, respect, and humor. Honoring yoga’s roots informs her own practice and she continues to find ways to decolonize within it.

Stef chase [coming soon]

Strength

Stef (she/her) was late to the group fitness party, sort of. As a tiny dancer (pun intended), she was in the dance studio for many years, practicing and competing in various formats. Then, she started taking barre classes in 2014, and was tapped to teach at a small studio soon after. Since she rarely says “no,” she took the opportunity and branched out to other formats. She’s been having fun in the group fitness space since.

Stef believes:

  • Every move in a workout is simply a strongly endorsed recommendation. If something isn’t working, other equally awesome recommendations are available.

  • Our bodies are stronger than we give them credit for sometimes. If we get out of our head, we can do some pretty amazing things (like lots of jump rope ;-)).

  • Music is almost as important as the moves in a workout. Go ahead, dance in between sets.

  • There’s no better way to workout than in a community. Making friends is a great way to forget you’re lifting heavy things.

Stephanie bon [coming soon]

Vinyasa

Steph (she/her) began her yoga journey in 2007 when she took her first yoga class and instantly fell in love with the strength, comfort, and positive energy she left with. Since that day, a continuous journey of exploration and learning led her to complete her 200 hr YTT in 2016 (alongside a few other Rebel teachers!). She further expanded her yoga knowledge, completing her 500hr YTT in 2023, and strives always to bring something new to her classes.

Steph believes:

  • In moving with intention; we live our yoga practice by taking what we learn on our mat away with us into our lives.

  • Yoga is for everyone; treat your body and mind with love and respect, do what is best for yourself in every moment, and enjoy your journey.

  • In living in the present; the reality of your life is always now. Enjoy the smell of trees on your hike, eat delicious food, and feel every sensation of your navasana.Other Specializations
